being a parent is tough!
I posted this on my facebook page:
so I've got a lot on my mind right now and writing is a stress reliever to me:)
so get ready here I go!
I love my children oh so much, and after praying for these miracles for 2 years, and going through infertility you sometimes feel as if you aren't allowed to have these feelings, after all this is what I prayed for and wanted so badly.
TRUE...i did! And anyone that knows me knows I love my children fiercely..but I do get weary in well doing!
It's a tough season of life raising 2 toddlers! And my Emma is the most strong willed little girl I've ever seen..she tests the fire out of me , and sometimes i just want to give up and say ok you win!! But I tell her I love her too much to let her get away with some of the stuff she tries:) she must be thinking well mama don't love me so much for pete's sake!:)
I adore this girl..and I think about the stories of moms who have raised their strong willed little tyke and now they are AMAZING adults or teens and that gives me hope! It encourages me to keep disciplining, keep loving her!
Sometimes I have to walk away from her..because I get angry ...how is it that such tiny creatures can make our blood boil:) I'm praying daily that I will discipline IN LOVE! I'm also going to start praying that God will use em's strong willedness for His good..He made Emma, and the plans for her are amazing! I have to keep that in mind!
Also another thing I struggle with is..How she acts is not a reflection on bryan and I as parents but how we RESPOND AND REACT to her behaviour does reflect on us. Please understand when our kids misbehave we do deal with IT, and boy have we heard some comments, to which we say If you dont' have a strong willed child you DON"T Know what its like..instead of criticize just pray for us!:):)
One thing I love about my Emma is her sense of humor! That girl can make me smile like no other!
I am so thankful that God has given us Emma and Brennan! I just KNOW that i can't do this alone..I need His help to get through the day and to be the kind of mom He wants me to be!

So blessed!
I am so blessed for many reasons, one of them is for my amazing family!
I am still amazed God has given me these 2 wonderful children. Blessed beyond measure!
My prayer is that I never forget all that God taught us through our infertility trails,His timing is always perfect and His strength is perfect, and HE IS ENOUGH!

i knew i was behind on blogging but wow it's almost been 4 months!

I've been very busy with my money savings blog! its' been awesome~ since the election bryans' work has been beyond busy,we went to mansfield for thanskgiving which is always fun! We also went to nagshead nc for our annual beach trip with my family for Christmas..there were 20 of use.. I think I stopped counting:):) I would lie and say we had the best week ever, but i just cant'! We were all sweet enough to pass around the stomach flu- shu was that ever fun:( Let's just say driving home wasn't a fun trip..I drove, and bryan bless his heart just kept getting sick..we stopped to eat, and the emster got sick all over b's new shoes!
We are home and settled;) and thankfully Healthy:)
Now to an update on the kidlets:
Lets' see Emma is still sassy as ever..and funny as ever:) Her new favorite things to do are Watch Horton, EAT , Ride her tricycle ,and EAT , and play her v-tech video game system, oh did i mention EAT? She also loves wearing her princess costumes, she changes about every 5 minutes, oh and she loves to eat:)I wish i could tell you how many times i hear a day MAMA I HUNGRY:) her favorite saying is Oh I was just joking:)
Now onto my sweet Brennan boy- that little knucklehead could not be more like his father! Bryan calls him his mini me:) He is such a funny little man...:)
He is 21 months now, and 50th percentile on every chart...He's a sweetheart for sure!

seriously worst updater ever in the history of blog world!
oh my !
life is good..finally feel like im getting used to having two little ones!
yah i know brennans 16 months old i better be used to it!
2 kids is way harder than one!!:)
brennan is a joy! he is saying lots of words..backpack from dora:), gwammy, holly, steve, doggie, eat, milk, drink, see , bananas and tons more! my favorite is MAMA!!!:)
he loves emma so much, he follows her around the house playing with her.
making some puzzle soup:)
.oh and he still loves his blankie, and his other favorite thing is no lie- a toothbrush!!: he carries it around all the day long, and brings me his toothpaste and says TEETH TEETH!!!!!:):)
he has great dental hygiene;)
he is a picky eater!! doesnt like slimy foods:) like lunch meat:) but he loves chicken nuggets, and anything in the tater family:) he loves bananas and fruitbars..but dont even think about giving him a hot dog..he spits that puppy right out- who can blame him? nastiness:)
now an update on my emma! she is hysterical..makes us laugh all the time-here are some of her silly faces:

she loves watching movies , as always loved her some tv..but we get to switch up the movies now:) she loves little mermaid, bugs life! still deathly afraid of the incredibles:) even though shes' never seen it:) silly girl!
she loves learning, and doing her preschool pages--shes' one smart cookie!
and loves going to sunday school and church..mostly because her friends are there:):)
shes a social little thing! she's still strong willed and we have our moments but we are working through it together with God's help!!!:)

may update!
oh my stars..what a month we've had!
my babies both had birthdays!
brennan turned one on mothers day! he is such a sweet boy..who makes us laugh a lot!
he looks just like bryan:)
emma turns 3 tomorrow!!!!!!! how can that be? she's grown into a precious little girl! Some of her favorite things these days...wonder pets, diego, ice cream and chocolate milk!
she is hysterical, and we love her dearly!

time .it is a flying....
wow cant believe it's already mid march!!
come on spring!!
things are going well here..we are in full potty training mode around here...em's doing great!
brennan is just a growing...at his 9 month appt. he was 19 pounds 12 ounces!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is babbling a lot more...trying lots of new foods:) and standing indpendtly wont' be long before he's just a walking machine! Lord help me!
we are settled into the new house, and sooo loving it! God's so good to us!!
ok off to post new photos:)
