disney vacation
ok!! im hear to tell a story!!
we went to disney may 23-may 30...
we really truly had a magical time!!
emma thought everything was amazing! she was the perfect age!
as you know she's a princess everyday at home..so to go and meet her real princess's was just awesome!
she loved all the rides..and was soo good the entire week!
the highlites for me was bippity boppity botique..where she got to have her hair , nails, makeup done by a fairy god mother in training at cinderellas castle..the pic in my siggy is the after princess makeover!! it was such a special time for her!!
we had breakfast with the princess's and it was so adorable...emma told them her name was princess snow white:)) she really gets into charachter:)
now bren...well he's two..enough said:) he didnt' understand the concept of waiting in line..and why he couldnt just roam around disney on his own!! smile.gif there were times we let him roam and he was soo very happy..but some days it was just too crowded so that made it tough:) he loved its a small world ride and just took it all in..we rode it about 8 times during our visit...it was a calming ride for him:) he loved walking around epcot..and playin in the rain!:) oh he also loved buzz lightyear ride he's just such a boy!
bryan and i had a great time..and the best thing we did was get a rental home..which ended up being cheaper than staying at a disney resort..our house had 3 bedrooms and its own pool..which em and bryan used a lot.
we would go to the parks as soon as they opened...and ride to our hearts content..then we would leave the parks around 2'sh and we'd all take naps.. disney is fun but wow exhausting!:)
i am planning on going again next year, but bryan suggested i take my sister and my niece who is a few weeks older than emma..he thinks bren would like it alot better when he is a little older!!

happy birthday brennan!
Wow time goes by so quickly..you blink and your child is not a newborn, blink again, he's a toddler!!
Brennan is an amazing little fella..he is his dad 100%= we call him his mini me:)
He has the most beautiful blue eyes and an awesome set of lungs:) in fact when he was born he was so loud the entire waiting room could hear him, and to be honest i dont think he's stopped screaming!!:)
He is my high maintenance little man, and I would not trade him for the world. Some of bren's favorite things are Toy story, he loves him some buzz and woody. He loves pizza and french frys. He adores his big sister emma! They are the best of friends..he calls her name about 2300 times a day!
He is a mama's boy:) at least I think so:)
When I look at him I cant' help but smile!
He is a joy!!
how could you not love this miracle?

Mothers Day 2009
Hard to believe i've been a mom for almost 4 years now!
Even harder to believe that my heart still hurts from all those years of waiting for a baby!
My heart hurts for those who have empty arms and hurting hearts!!:(

being a parent is tough!
I posted this on my facebook page:
so I've got a lot on my mind right now and writing is a stress reliever to me:)
so get ready here I go!
I love my children oh so much, and after praying for these miracles for 2 years, and going through infertility you sometimes feel as if you aren't allowed to have these feelings, after all this is what I prayed for and wanted so badly.
TRUE...i did! And anyone that knows me knows I love my children fiercely..but I do get weary in well doing!
It's a tough season of life raising 2 toddlers! And my Emma is the most strong willed little girl I've ever seen..she tests the fire out of me , and sometimes i just want to give up and say ok you win!! But I tell her I love her too much to let her get away with some of the stuff she tries:) she must be thinking well mama don't love me so much for pete's sake!:)
I adore this girl..and I think about the stories of moms who have raised their strong willed little tyke and now they are AMAZING adults or teens and that gives me hope! It encourages me to keep disciplining, keep loving her!
Sometimes I have to walk away from her..because I get angry ...how is it that such tiny creatures can make our blood boil:) I'm praying daily that I will discipline IN LOVE! I'm also going to start praying that God will use em's strong willedness for His good..He made Emma, and the plans for her are amazing! I have to keep that in mind!
Also another thing I struggle with is..How she acts is not a reflection on bryan and I as parents but how we RESPOND AND REACT to her behaviour does reflect on us. Please understand when our kids misbehave we do deal with IT, and boy have we heard some comments, to which we say If you dont' have a strong willed child you DON"T Know what its like..instead of criticize just pray for us!:):)
One thing I love about my Emma is her sense of humor! That girl can make me smile like no other!
I am so thankful that God has given us Emma and Brennan! I just KNOW that i can't do this alone..I need His help to get through the day and to be the kind of mom He wants me to be!
